How do you fix peeling skin from acne products?
Lately, I’ve bееn using ѕοmе medicine thаt mу dermatologist recommended fοr mе аnd іt ѕауѕ thаt іt wіll cause skin tο peel. Hе tοld mе thаt I hаνе аn option οf nοt using іt οr putting οn cream іf іt dοеѕ bυt іt stings еіthеr way. I јυѕt don’t want skin tο bе peeling constantly, іѕ thеrе аnу οthеr way οf solving thіѕ problem??
You should try using it less frequently. Like if ur supposed to use it 3 times a day try once a day and try working your way up. If its once a day do every other day and etc. You’re skin is just sensitive. To be honest I had the same prob. I had bad acne and the products dried my skin and actually made it worst. The only way my acne clears up is when I dont use any product AT ALL on my face. Like every other day I use a LIGHT moisturizer but only when I feel I need it. I actually tried using a acne product the other month and after being clear for almost a year now, it caused me to break out. I stopped using everything again and Im clear like usual now. When I occasionally get a bump or two now I use clearisil ultra. Just my advice though. Something to try:) (and its a lot cheaper haha)
You should try to not put so much of that product on the parts that are peeling. This happend to me too, but i just chose not to use it anymore, I went back to the dermatologist and told her that it dries my skin too much, she gave me a different type of gel/cream. It works better, but you should first start to not apply too much on the dry parts of your skin, if it’s still too dry you should talk to your doctor, or not use it at all.
Acne
Maintain a routine. Most acne treatments take time to work. It usually takes between two and eight weeks before you see any significant improvement, so you are going to have to be patient. Once you’ve gotten your acne cleared up, it’s important to continue with the treatment that’s working so it does not return.
If all else fails, contact a doctor. Mild antibiotics that are available only by prescription can help reduce acne. Keep in mind though, that the widespread overuse (taking antibiotics when you really don’t need them or for something they don’t treat) and misuse (not taking medication for the specified amount of time) of antibiotics has led to the development of multiple antibiotic resistant bacteria. That means that the antibiotics won’t work for the things they used to (including your acne).
