Is there a tanning bed lotion that wont clog pores and is good for acne prone skin?
I аm going tο ѕtаrt going tο thе tanning bed іn аbουt a week аnd I want a nice dаrk tan. Although mοѕt tanning bed lotions clog pores аnd irritate mу acne. I hаνе very sensitive skin ѕο I need a tanning lotion thаt іѕ gentle. Anу suggestions?
The tanning bed’s UV lights themselves may actually help the acne. It may be the sweat and oils that appear to irritate your skin. Wait 45 minutes to an hour, and then shower to wash off the oils, sweat and excess lotion. Be sure to use a reliable moisturizer after you go every single time to avoid your skin drying out.
I know this isn’t what you asked, but please read it. I used to go to tanning beds; in fact, one of my first job was working at a tanning salon. I just want to encourage you to do the research and be aware of all the risks of tanning beds (including those risks to your skin, to your vision, to your internal organs, etc.) Tanning beds are DANGEROUS! My mother suffered through skin cancer which had already begun to spread INTERNALLY when it was discovered. She had to travel 3 hours away to a specialist every single week for an entire year for treatments (this particular specialist was required for her situation despite her having numerous high-tech hospitals and doctors where she lives). After all the intense IV treatments, which were lengthy and which regularly made her very, very sick, she had to go monthly for another year, then several times per year for another year or two. Now, years later, she still has to go for follow-ups and blood work because she is very high risk to have it again. She is not fair-skinned, and she had only burned once or twice in her entire life. No one can say whether the sun or all the tanning beds did it, but why risk it? Skin cancer can affect ANYONE at ANY TIME. Please, if you are still set on going, please read all the information and take all the necessary steps to protect yourself as best you can.
i dont know about a tanning lotion,
but i use netruagena spray tan,
it works really well, and doesnt clog my pores
Well, I’m not sure for the body, but Designer Skin has one called Vanishing Act which is for your face and contains salicylic acid to help with blemishes. Link to the site and description is provided. You can get it at most tanning salons and if you are out of luck, try Amazon, although I don’t always think Amazon is the best place. As for body, the only thing I can think of is something that my mom used called Australian Gold Idol which I believe contains hemp and is okay for sensitive skin.
