Which is better: mild or prescription acne treatments?
Whісh іѕ better tο treat acne: thе stuff уου саn easily bυу аt Target οr something prescribed bу уουr dermatologist? Cаn prescription medications bе tοο hard οn уουr face?
I tried a lot of products and had the most success using Skinoren gel (azaelic acid) and zinc / selenium tablets. Both are available from the pharmacy without prescription.
I have experienced it and i think mild but thtas for my skin
I don’t think so.. I think that the prescribed medication is better.
perscription try your dermatologist differin is great but over the counter can be good to try to have both just dont use to much cuz it will dry out your skin
Depending on what it is. I use the PanOxyl soap bar. I started off using Proactiv and it dried out my skin a lot, to the point where it was irritating my face.
I also have a cream from my dermatologist to apply after I wash my face with the PanOxyl soap bar.
I am on prescription meds for my acne. They work great!! Nowadays there is no reason to walk around with acne when there are so many new treatments out there. The doctor says that if they become irratating to your skin you can move to using then less often. I am to the point now where I can just use a face wash in the shower everyday and it works great for me & don’t even need the other two face creams he gave me to put on at night.
I had a problem with bad spots when I was a teenager. I went to the doctors and he prescribed something called Zinerit. It worked a treat. Cleared everything up. See your doctor and ask for that. It’s a liquid that comes in a kind of roll on that you apply to your face. It worked wonders for me.
Alternatively you can buy it from here.
