why when i try acne treatments my acne gets a lot worse?

If that is happening, it is important to use a product that doesn’t have oil. If it gets to the point where you don’t know what to do about it, go to your doctor and they can prescribe an acne medicine that will work well with your skin type. Good Luck!
you probably dont stick with one product long enough to know what could work. give it at least a couple weeks for whatever new thing you try. the true thing is, it gets worse before it gets better.
Most of the brands you mentioned draw the oilyness in your skin out… your breakouts will get worse before they get better. Proactive actually tells you wont see good results for a while. If you stick with it and foloow the directions exactly you will eventually see a change.
My skin is like that too. I use Neutrogena, but I make sure that it is not designed for people with acne. For some reason, doing less is more for my skin. Maybe it’s the same for you.
